Ottobock invests EUR 2 million in Vienna

The collaboration with leading scientists at universities as well as partners from the field of application and specialised stores comprises a crucial platform for research work.
For this reason, Ottobock is expanding its high-tech site in Vienna where new myo-electronic and microprocessor-controlled products are manufactured. Close to EUR 2 million will be invested in 2019 and 2020 to expand the plant and optimise production. Ottobock has been operating in Austria since the year 1969. Products which are both developed until they reach market maturity and produced in Vienna improve the quality of life of users across the globe.
