A new hub for biotech innovation: INNEXIS is developing a pharmaceutical and life sciences park in Orth an der Donau

Austria has a strong life sciences ecosystem and is one of Europe’s leading centres of innovation. The Greater Vienna area, in particular, brings together universities, research institutes and international companies within a closely networked environment. For companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, the region offers a stable regulatory framework, internationally recognised GMP standards and access to the European pharmaceutical market. In future, INNEXIS will also increasingly offer engineering and logistics solutions at the site to support companies across the entire value chain. The site is aimed in particular at companies that develop and produce modern therapies such as biologics, plasmid DNA, mRNA or cell and gene therapies. As many buildings have already been validated and prepared to meet regulatory requirements, companies can quickly commence operations and efficiently establish new production capacity. In the long term, this is intended to foster a dynamic life sciences ecosystem that promotes innovation and facilitates international collaboration.
