The advance of digitalisation means that the issue of cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important. Now, a digital map shows at once glance which Austrian companies operate in the fields of artificial intelligence and IT security and simultaneously fulfil the highest standards.

The AI & IT Security Landscape serves as a compass. The first edition was put together by the IT Cluster Upper Austria and the company enliteAI GmbH. The AI Landscape Austria provides a broad overview.

“We want to move full steam ahead towards digitalisation and consider the landscape to be an important tool in order to strengthen the network and protect ourselves against threats from the world of cybercrime,” emphasizes Frederic Hadjari, Manager of the IT Cluster. The map serves as a kind of route planer to enable people to orient themselves in the jungle of diverse fields, technologies and applications. It is also a networking tool for potential cooperation partners.

Cyber attackers are continuously refining their tactics. “Threat scenarios as becoming more multifaceted and complex,” Hadjari warns. The digital landscape provides a protective shield for this purpose. Companies which want to participate have to fulfil precisely defined criteria.
