The technical solution includes a Frequentis voice and data transmission system with integrated voice and data recording. Furthermore, the acceptance of calls and computer aided dispatching (CAD) as well as a geographical information system (GIS) are also integrated.
The facility was installed by Frequentis, and the Vietnamese emergency services were trained in the application of the system. Four dispatch centers with 21 fire stations process about 1,600 calls per day. 64 firefighting vehicles are linked on a mobile basis. In a further phase, the project is planned to be expanded, and equipped even better with automatic fire detectors.
