Leitner expands plant in Tyrol

At present Leitner located in Telfs employs about 250 people. The plant and offices were expanded over the past few months at a cost of about EUR 8 million.

The company manufactures about 3,500 chairlift chairs and approximately 1,000 snow machines, thus contributing about EUR 150 million of the group’s total revenue of EUR 726 million in 2015. Leitner has responded to climate change, for example, by making massive investments in research, reducing energy consumption and digitalization.
