Different clinical data is combined and analysed in an innovative approach as a means of pressing ahead with clinical research. The biomarkers will serve to provide pinpointed diagnostics and therapy as well as optimize early detection and progress monitoring.

CBmed aims to more effectively use the complex data sets arising from ongoing health care and biomedical research and combined it with the analytical data of CBmed for the benefit of patient treatment and research.

The competence center in Graz believes the SAP technology "Connected Health" is a suitable system for this purpose. “We expect the work will have a substantial effect on the way medicine is practiced in the future”, says Harald Sourij, Area Leader for Metabolism and Inflammation at CBmed. In the initial phase, CBmed wants to process large volumes of clinical data for improved further use and then integrate the data into various pilot applications.
