The modern facility encompasses an area of about 20,000 square meters, and will feature a transshipment center and adjacent warehouse as well as offices. The new site is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of 2017.

The logistics company from Kempten has built up a strong network in Austria with ten branch offices, and exploits Austria’s central location as a logistics interface within Europe. Synchronized transport operations link the facility in Tyrol to 362 sites in Europe. The daily transport of goods to Eastern Europe and the Balkan region is handled by the company’s European hub located in Bratislava, Slovakia.

In May Dachser opened a new warehouse in Linz with a storage and logistics space of 10,000 square meters. The company invested about EUR 10 million for its site in Linz.
