EUR 280 million for “Silicon Austria“

The Graz University of Technology will conduct research on bringing systems together, for example those serving as the basis for autonomous driving. At the High-Tech Campus Villach, the focus will be on developing microelectronic sensors and power electronics. The laboratories located in the Science Park Linz will concentrate on the secure transmission of large data volumes in the high-frequency range. High-frequency technology plays a key role in numerous leading-edge areas of research in the field of digitalization, for example 5G/6G, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, autonomous driving and diagnostic imaging.
