
The first 52 startups, including firms from Great Britain, Poland, Czech Republic and the USA, have been selected to participate in the multi-corporate accelerator program and move into the new startup center for a period of four months.
More than 1,000 interested parties from more than 60 countries applied for the right to operate at weXelerate. In the initial round, the focus was on the issues of blockchain, Internet of Things, mobility, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI). weXelerate works together with corporate partners from five industrial sectors at the present time i.e. media, banking, insurance companies, energy and infrastructure as well as Industry 4.0. Thirteen of the startups accepted to the new startup hub are involved in the field of artificial intelligence and bots for banks, whereas nine have similar solutions for the insurance business in their portfolios.
