Researchers in Austria have been able to raise EUR 780 million up until now. The success rate of Austria’s participation is 16.5% and thus clearly above the average of other countries (14.5%) as well as the EU-28 (14.4%).

A major role is played by the top-level research program ERC. It is the most important program in the light of the EUR 150.4 million in funding which has been raised. Austrian companies are responsible for about 36% of the entire EU reflows of funds from the framework program. This figure is considerably higher than the average of about 30% for all other countries involved.
