New startup funds enrich ecosystem

weXelerate building in Vienna © weXelerate

With weXelerate, the biggest startup hub in Central and Eastern Europe is being created. New funds are also optimizing the ecosystem for startups. For example, the investment platform IST CUBE, an initiative of the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) and a subsidiary of Lansdowne Partners, supports young technology-based founders who want to locate their companies in Austria with initial funding of EUR 5 million. The venture capital fund capital300 also provides assistance to high-growth companies in their internationalization efforts. It gets involved after the first early-phase investments by business angels and seed financiers and aims to provide capital, networks and know-how for international expansion together with top global venture capital companies.

0100 Conferences Vienna will serve as an exciting meeting point for investors from West and East. It takes place on February 15, 2018, and will host more than 300 top calibre representatives and 60 lecturers.

Austria on track to implement the mobility of the future

It seems that the mobility of the future has long begun in the Alpine Republic. This is, last but not least, evidence of the ideal conditions which innovative companies benefit from here.
