THI receives award for innovative medical product

THI team © KWF/Johannes Puch

THI Total Healthcare specializes in researching, developing and producing innovative medical products. The ViVi® Infection Prevention System is used in operating rooms. Wearing whole-body protective clothing in a surgical environment can enable warm and humid breathing air to be trapped in the protective system, thus resulting in a higher temperature and concentration of CO₂. For example, the more a surgeon moves, the warmer he will be. This is no longer the case with the product developed by THI. This is due to the fact that the

ViVi® Infection Prevention System exploits the possibilities of gesture control and activity monitoring in order to automatically adjust the speed of the cooling fan to the level of one’s personal well-being. ViVi® stands out thanks to its low total weight of only 370 grams.
