Austrian Space Forum carried out Mars simulation in Oman

Under Austrian leadership, experiments in the fields of engineering technology, manned exploration of planet surfaces, astrobiology, geophysics/geology, biosciences and human sciences will be carried out from February 8 – March 12, 2018 in order to prepare for future, manned missions to Mars. The simulation called AMADEE-18 is being conducted in collaboration with the Oman National Steering Committee. Participants from more than 20 nations are working together on this mission, and 16 institutions from six countries are involved.
