A leap forward in dental treatment

“Dental turbine” is the technical expression for the dreaded “drill” used by dentists. Up until now these devices featured fixed operational settings, but could not be adjusted to the different treatment situations. The product “Primea Advanced Air” developed by W&H which has been available on the marketplace since September 2016 now allows for precise adjustments for all types of dental treatment, similar to an electric engine. Compared to equipment powered by electric motors, the pneumatic turbine-driven system is considerably lighter, quieter and less expensive. The adjustable rotation speed and peak performance tailored to the particular treatment and the shadow-free LED illumination make very efficient and precise work possible. In turn, thermal damage and soft tissue injuries can be avoided for the most part.
