Transport Research Arena 2018: Largest European transport research conference to take place in Vienna

Some 3,000 international experts will discuss the future of transport. Focal points will include the digitalization and decarbonisation of the transport sector. In addition, experts will deal with specialized areas such as environment and energy efficiency, rail transport and shipping alternative drive systems, smart urban mobility and logistics, personal mobility (systems and services), freight transport and logistics, transport infrastructure, network and automated mobility, digital technologies, secure and resilient transport systems, as well as the human dimension in transport, socioeconomics, innovation and politics.  

TRA 2018 is being organized by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology in cooperation with the Austrian Institute of Technology and AustriaTech, and with the support of the European Commission and the largest European technology platforms.
