In the meantime, there are a large number of possible coworking spaces to choose from. They include 4Gamechangers Hub, W48, Strada del Startup, Spaces and Talent Garden to name just a few. Talent Garden from Italy operates a network of 25 coworking spaces in Europe and starting in Vienna in January. The special feature of coworking is that the operators there make sure that an equal proportion of startups, small and medium-sized enterprises and corporates are to be found on each of the four floors with working space. Talent Garden calls this the “Magic Mix”.
In 2018 another larger international provider, Spaces, entered the Austrian market. The Dutch company offers more than 500 working spaces in its Austrian location. The lessees comprise a colorful mixture of self-employed people, startups and large companies which like to book Spaces for projects or individual departments. Spaces will be represented at four sites in Vienna by the end of the year.
Vienna offers a colorful blend. Packhaus at Vienna’s Heumarkt location offers the very first coworking space for women in Austria. The 4Gamechangers Hub is located on the top floor of the Media Quarter Marx. The proximity to the Vienna BioCenter lures medical technology and biotech specialists originating at the well-known research center.
