
This is why it is even more gratifying that Vienna not only scores points with its high quality of life but is also extremely popular amongst young innovative employees. The Austrian capital city is ranked fourth in the “Global Talent Competitiveness Index” of the personnel service provider Adecco Group, Insead University and Tata Communications. The index was presented on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The study measures the competitiveness in attracting talents, focusing on entrepreneurial talents. 68 variables were used in the comparison of 114 cities (and 125 economies for the country ranking. The criteria of research, internationality, attractiveness, development opportunities and surrounding conditions were included.
