UNIQA Ventures and new investors have committed a total of EUR 4 million. The InsurTech firm has specialized in “B2B2C” models. Access to end customers does not take place directly but exclusively via cooperation partners. The startup bsurance was selected by experts of the industry conference Digital Insurance Agenda (DIA) as one of the 100 most promising InsurTech startups in Europe. Following the successful market launch in Austria and Germany, the company is continuing its expansion to Western Europe and the CEE countries. This step is being supported by the strategic partnerships concluded last year with Munich Re and UNIQA.
