The Austrian firm Starzinger in Upper Austria is responsible for filling the cans with water. The demands imposed upon drinking water in Austria are very high. The founders of Liquid Death have exploited this fact. Mike Cessario, Pat Cook, JR Riggins and Will Carsola are marketing the water with the slogan “100 percent natural spring water from the Austrian Alps”. The founder Mike Cessario emphasized to the online news portal Techcrunch that “The cans are produced in Austria because so many things simply fit. This also includes the Austrian bottling company. It was a fortunate coincidence to be able to find such a great producer at such a wonderful place.”
