MEDUSA is a hybrid neurosurgical simulator. It connects the real and virtual worlds and thus creates a diverse range of realistic training opportunities for neurosurgeons and medical students. Highly complicated brain operations can be simulated in the future. The core competencies from the fields of neurosurgery, natural sciences, artificial intelligence, medical engineering and materials science are bundled here.
