This ranking also encompasses Austrian universities. The Austrian universities of applied sciences achieved the highest score of 1 in a large number of the detailed categories (such as the general study situation, support provided by teachers, feasibility of studying, examinations, facilities and practical relevance). Students were also interviewed. The focus of the current round of the survey is on specified areas of study such as business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering, commercial law, business psychology, social work and economics. With respect to Austrian universities, a total of ten universities of applied sciences appear in the current CHE ranking. In turn, 92 courses of studies at these universities were evaluated.
