At the age of 20, he already founded the company Amlogy, which is now launching a new WebAR technology on the market. Moreover, the company is pleased to have raised fresh capital to secure the next expansion step. The business angels are Michael Dell, Alexander Ottmann and Wolfgang Maierhofer. Amlogy GmbH is delighted with a mid-six-digit figure in investments.
Amlogy, which is consulted by ABA – Invest in Austria, is now expanding to Italy with its new product called Areeka. Furthermore, Areeka, the educational product developed by Amlogy, is also available in the Mondadori book shop. The product encompasses a skeleton poster, the activity cards ("The World of Animals and Dinosaurs"), as well as booklets on specific topics which will soon be issued, such as "Light and Water", "An Interactive Journey to Egypt" and "Simply Understanding Traffic Signs." The startup is also involved in the B2B segment, and develops AR applications, for example on behalf of energy companies, which can then be used for training purposes. Schoolbooks are also linked with augmented reality, in order to illustrate complex subjects (e.g. "How does an Electric Engine Work?") in a three-dimensional manner.
The long-term objective of the company is also in the B2C segment. The company would like to offer an "Instagram for AR". This should function as follows: The Areeka WebAR Studio launched this year should enable developers as well as people who do not have programming skills, for example teachers, pupils or artists, to implement AR projects. The users should be able to follow and evaluate each other in other social networks so that the creations will find an audience.
