The vehicle should be manufactured with numerous sustainable materials and cost less than € 40,000. In this case, Austria is in competition with sites in the USA and China. If the company succeeds in winning the contract, the Fisker Ocean will be produced by Magna Steyr in Graz starting in the year 2022. The electric-powered automobile with the "green" label should also be vegan i.e. without animal leather. The plastic should be derived from recycled plastics from the oceans, which is the reason for the choice of this vehicle name. Photovoltaic cells on the roof of the automobile are designed as an additional source of battery charging. The range of the Fisker Ocean is planned to be close to 500 kilometres. This car was planned by the Danish car designer Henrik Fisker who lives in California. He was involved in the production of vehicles such as the BMW Z8, the Aston Martin DB9 and the V8 Vantage.
