For example, this would enable fashion to be industrially produced in a customised manner. Up until now too little digital information about human body sizes was available. For this reason, industrial sectors could not sufficiently digitalise products and processes relating to the human body, for example physicians or avatar developers who want correct body models for their virtual imaging. Garment producers also fall into this category. Their objective is to achieve greater precision in producing specific sizes on the basis of correct global measurements. The App precisely carries out the measurements on the filmed human body with a possible deviation of just a few millimetres using conventional 2D video technology, per Webcam or smart phone camera, and depicts the body digitally. The producer receives a correct data set of human body sizes as the basis for its manufacturing. For this reason, the solution based on computer vision and data analyses should be used in the textile industry in the near future. AMB technology works with a team of experts in the fields of computer vision, machine learning, computer science, mobile computing and 3D graphics as well as specialists for "fashion and technology" and strategy.
