The future of competency-based trainings

CEO Lucas Noldus at the simulator © Noldus Information Technology BV

Noldus is the global market leader for software and hardware solutions relating to behavioural research on animals and human beings.

The primary objective is to continuously measure characteristics such as attention span, cognitive load, stress and other emotional states in training situations by means of a software solution. For example, simulator-based trainings for pilots and for shipping can be optimised in this manner. With the help of a project entitled the Measurement and Interpretation of Data for Monitoring Attentional Processes (MinDMAP), it will be possible to implement a live assessment of cognitive states, measure the workload and adjust training to ensure optimal learning.
