The charitable organisation aims to give these people better access to high-quality education and training and to the job market. The focus is mainly on educational and employment opportunities in the fields of information and communications technologies as well as artificial intelligence. For this purpose, the organisation increasingly makes use of possibilities opened up by e-learning, thus striving to also reach people in rural areas. As a result, education and training and the search for jobs should become more inclusive and be organised in a user-friendly manner for all people.
At the same time, Jamba also appeals to the corporate sector with a barrier-free e-learning and job matching platform. Trainings for talented people with disabilities are offered in the fields of OCT and AI. Awareness of the potential of these people on the part of employers is being strengthened. The Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG funds Jamba with the context of its Impact Innovation Programme. Jamba was originally a startup from Bulgaria and was supported by ABA – Invest in Austria in locating operations in Austria in 2020.
