Koch Media Group expands its logistics capacities

This will provide the company with close to 6,500 m² of additional storage space, increasing its existing logistics capacities by 60 percent. Koch Media belongs to the publicly traded Swedish Embracer Group. Enhancing logistics capacities is the consequence of the Koch Media's constant growth over the last three years, according to the company. In the last half-year alone, Koch Media completely acquired two renowned games makers, namely the Dutch firm Vertigo Games and the Polish PC and console developer Flying Wild Hog. The physical distribution of the global market leader Activision Blizzard has also been in the company's hands now for a short time.

The Koch Media Gruppe operates eleven own development studios throughout Europe and in the USA. In the meantime, over two-thirds of the workforce of 1,958 employees are involved in games development. 190 employees from 14 nations work at the facility in Tyrol. The company will enlarge its team by one-third due to the expansion of its logistics capacities.
