The lead partner is the Arctic University of Norway. Other partners are the University of Alicante (Spain), the Technical University of Varna (Bulgaria), the University of Edinburgh (UK) and the Slovak company G-Force. The Departments of Economics and Energy Environment at the FH Burgenland are also involved.
The project called EIT HEI INITIATIVE - Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education is designed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly when it comes to sustainability., "We are the only participating institution that is already pursuing strategies to convey entrepreneurship, also in non-business courses of study", explains Alexandra Baldwin, Project Manager at FH Burgenland. For years know-how related to knowledge management and business modelling has also been imparted in technical courses of study. "The objective is also to not only strengthen the capabilities of students but also teachers and colleagues with respect to innovation", Ms. Baldwin adds.
