
The German e-mobility startup already offers its service in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. The firm specialises in e-mopeds along with the rentals of e-bikes.
The SoundCloud founders Eric Quidenus-Wahlforss and Alexander Ljung together with the co-founder of Jimdo, Christian Springub, are the driving forces behind the company. "Our objective has always been to create a global movement for safe, human-centred cities by offering flexible, convenient and environmentally friendly mobility solutions," explains Quidenus-Wahlforss, CEO of Dance. Customers will receive their own e-bike in return for paying a monthly rental fee. The e-bike will be repaired within 24 hours if there is any damage to it.
In addition to the expansion into new markets, Dance is enlarging its product portfolio by offering a low-step variant of the e-bike. The tires are linked to the Dance App which provides information about distance, speed, time for the distances covered as well as CO2-savings.
