Innovation plays a crucial role when it comes to environmental and climate protection.

This is because novel solutions are more in demand than ever before. In this case, strong protection of intellectual property serves as a catalyst for innovation processes and a valuable instrument to open up new markets. Small and medium-sized companies involved in developing green technologies have a point of contact and support in protecting their intellectual property in the funding programme GREEN.IP.

GREEN.IP offers funding in the form of grants of up to € 100,000. In particular, Austrian technology-oriented SMEs and startups whose products and services contribute to achieving the goals of the European Green Deal are invited to submit applications. More information is available under aws Innovationsschutz or within the context of an IP appointment. Applications for the GREEN.IP programme can be submitted via the "Fördermanager" platform of the Austrian Business Service ("Austria Wirtschaftsservice").
