Investment-friendly Austrian women

74% of the women interviewed even plan to increase their monthly investment total to an average of € 1,296 each month, 30% more than what they invest at the present time. In Europe, women invest an average of € 857 of their monthly income, though the majority invest between € 100 and € 499 per month. Women prefer banking and insurance products (40% and 35% respectively) but are increasingly willing to invest in cryptocurrencies (31%). The underlying motive for investments is to ensure the financial security of their families. Ensuring sufficient funds in retirement (45%) and multiplying income in the long-term (44%) are also underlying reasons for their investments. On balance, a total of 990 women throughout Austria were interviewed, including those who currently invest and those who do not yet invest at all.
