The company history of Ericsson Austria starts in 1912 with a cooperation agreement between "Deckert & Homolka" and Ericsson. This is followed by the time with Dr. Eduard Schrack, he was considered the founder of the Austrian broadcasting industry, who founded the company "Schrack-Ericsson", which was responsible for the development and production of telephone systems. In the late 1990s, Ericsson acquired all shares of the company in Austria. Since then, Ericsson Austria has contributed to the excellent quality of the Austrian communications infrastructure through countless innovation projects with its technology, most of which was developed in Europe. Customers and partners include all-known Austrian mobile communications, energy and IT companies.
