TED AI Vienna 2025: AI as the key to our future
30. October 2025For three days, Vienna's Hofburg Palace was dominated by artificial intelligence (AI). At TED AI Vienna 2025, Austria demonstrated its strength as a European AI hotspot – a place where research, technology and entrepreneurship come together.
More than 1,200 participants from 65 countries discussed at the TED AI ViennaTED AI Vienna () about the opportunities, limitations and applications of the technology. The Austrian Business Agency (ABA) was also present, highlighting how Austria is actively shaping the international AI landscape. The event brought together international thought leaders, leading companies and local innovators such as Emmi AIEmmi AI (), vrischvrisch () and NXAINXAI () together. They demonstrated how closely scientific excellence and economic implementation are linked in Austria.
Global perspectives, Austrian excellence
Experts from Microsoft, Sony CSL, OpenAI and Google DeepMind provided insights into current developments. The programme was supplemented by formats such as Solution Circles and Ideas Adventures. For international companies, investors and research institutions, TED AI Vienna provided an ideal platform to learn about the potential of Austria as an AI location and to establish new collaborations. The next edition of TED AI Vienna is scheduled to take place from 28 to 30 October 2026 at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna.
