Techbase Vienna

A highly-modern technology center for research and development in the field of transportation, logistics and renewable energy has been established in Vienna.
Techbase Vienna’s tenants will include the Austrian Research and Testing Center Arsenal, the Automotive Cluster Vienna Region (ACVR), as well as two universities of applied sciences with their degree programs in the fields of transportation and logistics.

V-Research Center

Long-term support for business research is the mission of the V-Research Center for Tribotronics and Technical Logistics in Vorarlberg. The range of services includes commissioned research and development, the coordination of joint business R&D projects and the expansion of know-how in next generation specialty fields.

Logistikum Steyr

As one of the largest logistics competence centers, Logistikum Steyr links education, research and practice. Some 300 students complete Bachelor’s or Master’s courses. More than 80 research projects per year build a bridge between business and research.

Highly qualified logistics managers with specialized training as well as specialists in the fields of IT, organization and telecommunications are available in sufficient numbers to international companies in Austria. This is ensured by university-level education, for example in Vienna, Steyr, Kapfenberg, Leoben and Linz, a logistics MBA from Danube University Krems as well as several courses of study at universities of applied sciences. The Master’s study program in supply chain management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business is one of the best in the world according to the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking 2012.
